​I offer expert one-to-one drum tuition for all drummers, from beginners through to advanced players, covering all styles. I cater for all abilities, aspirations, and ages (from 6 to 60 and beyond!) Whether you dream of becoming a professional drummer, or want to play drumkit for your GCSE Music Performance, or just want to have a go to see if it's as much fun as it looks, you've come to the right place!

The lessons are based around what YOU want to learn. You can learn about the music of your favourite bands/artists and play the drums to your favourite songs. Maybe you need some help with some new songs your band is playing. You can also learn about your favourite musical styles and learn how specific rhythms, sounds and drumkit techniques are used to create the flavour and feel of the music.

Students get a full acoustic drumkit to themselves for the whole session and undivided attention from a professional drum teacher who is there to help and guide them. Beginners follow an approved syllabus and can choose to take Graded exams in drumkit if they wish.

The sessions are relaxed and enjoyable. One-to-one lessons enable you to work at your own pace through varied topics helping you to build the skills, confidence, and musical understanding to achieve your drumming goals.

Using source material from the Rockschool & Trinity College drumkit syllabus, standard reference texts, and many specialist publications & CDs, I can help students develop their musical knowledge, practical drumming skills, and appreciation of music.
